Cliff: Think of this as a waiting period. It's a set amount of time after the token launch before any tokens from that bucket can begin to be released. For example, the Team has a 3-month cliff, meaning no team tokens are unlocked for the first three months, ensuring they are committed to the project's initial growth.
Vesting: This is the gradual release schedule that happens after the cliff period is over. Instead of getting all their tokens at once, recipients get them slowly, bit by bit, over the vesting period. For instance, the Team's tokens are released in small, equal amounts over 24 months.
